for the love of dog

Everyone has a story. Even a dog does. Maybe no one ever loved him. Maybe he spent three years of his sad life on a clunky chain – rain or shine, stuck outside, unwelcome into the lives of people who bought him. Maybe he doesn’t even know how to give kisses and never looks you in the eyes, but then again, maybe you came into his life for a reason. Today, after five months of fostering, we decided to adopt our “guest” rottie.

Blazey-Boy is not only a character in my tales, but he’s also in my heart and in my kitchen. Patiently waiting for a treat.

  1. We just adopted our 4th rescue. He was abused by a man so we continue to work with him being comfortable around my husband. He’s a mastiff/great dane mix and a lovable, gentle giant, who accidently knocks over my 9 year old, once in awhile. Yay dogs!
